It is Saturday, I am getting some TV time this weekend and just saw some ridiculous news on CNN.  You know food in the US is not charged Taxes unless ordered in a restaurant.  Buying just straight food is not taxable.

Our friends in the state of IOWA decided that Pumpkins are not used as food much but mainly as "decorations", well IOWA state is starting to charge TAXES on pumpkins. If you intend to purchase the pumpkins to eat, you are expected to fill out an application at the store stating your intent and that it will not be used for decoration.

Are you kidding me!

I do hereby declare my intention to eat the six pumpkins sitting on my front porch. These beautiful gourds carved by myself, my wife and my children were definitely not lit by flickering candlelight and enjoyed as decorative Halloween enhancements last week by ourselves and the many joyful trick-or-treaters who came to our door. We will be having pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin muffins and pumpkin taffy for the next several weeks.

(Think that will fool the Iowa prosecutors, Lino?)

ROFL, I am worried about the Pumpkin Police: "Please PUT the pumpkin down and your hands up!" We saw your child from the window playing with his food and it was a pumpkin, that makes the pumpkin a TOY, need to charge you taxes or face jail time!
